In Your Own Kitchen, written by Chef Karel Anne Tieszen, is a cookbook about REALITY cooking. I've seen this book--close up--and it's true--these recipes are DO-ABLE. Common ingredients, easy techniques and just good food. Karel Anne (or KAT, as she's known by) has done an excellent job of putting the recipes to the test in real life situations and with real life cooks! Check it out. I promise it's worth a look.
